MOTD: Gonzo Eyes and Mauve Lips.

Hey, friends! I was going to save this MOTD for one of my two uploads next week, but I was too happy with how it turned out to wait until then. So, have this little bonus jonas post about all the stuff I put on my face today!

I've been loving glowing skin lately - probably because I'm always glistening in this damn heat anyway - and so I've been adding Benefit's Girl Meets Pearl to my holy grail Covergirl 3in1 Foundation most mornings. It's very subtle, unlike other liquid highlighters I've tried which make you look like you've gone face down in a bowl of glitter. I dotted a little Maybelline Master Conceal Facestudio on too (by dotted I mean covered 50% of my face).

The Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade is my next step; honestly, I have no idea what I was doing with myself before discovering this because this is the quickest way to good brows. I use the colour dark brown, which isn't completely cool toned but doesn't contain any obvious red hues.
On my eyes today I used the colours Black, Sable, Taupe and Pewter from the Lorac Pro Palette - my absolute favourite eyeshadow palette, I haven't used anything else since I bought it. Everyone and their Mother has raved about this product, so I won't bore you with it again, just try it. You won't regret it.

I gave my lash line a slight definition with Stila's Stay All Day Liquid Liner in black before smoking it out, which I much prefer to do with an everyday smokey eye situation. The Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Liners were a winner for me today; Gonzo gave a nice pop of colour to my waterline, while Perversion gave my lashes a fuller look in my tightline. Speaking of lashes, I tried Kat Von D's Immortal Lash Mascara for the first time today and was unpleasantly surprised - first impression up soon! I doubled up with Maybelline Falsies Volum Express because they looked a little sad.

The rest of my face was pretty basic - Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette set my base, Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer found my cheekbones and Benefit's Dandelion blush brought some colour back. I finished off with Make Up Forever Aqua Rouge in the shade 3 for that super 90's mauve-y brown look.

Enjoy!
