MOTD: Nude All Over.

Hey, friends! I have another extra post this week - I've decided that MOTD's will go up separately to regular uploads, I feel weird about 'pre-writing' make up looks for later posting, plus I get too excited to wait!

This is a look I actually use frequently in my everyday rotation; its one of those long wearing, versatile, simple faces which oozes that 'oh I just threw this on in five minutes, I always look this effortlessly put together' factor - aka my favourite kind of look.

On days where I'm going to be wearing this look all the way into the night, as is the case today, I like to use my tried and true Covergirl 3in1 SuperStay Foundation, with my Maybelline Master Conceal as my base. I wear these almost daily - and mention them in just about every make up post - because I know they're not going anywhere once they're on my face. There's nothing worse than making a bathroom stop on a busy day and wondering where the hell your base disappeared to and why your cheeks resemble that of a teething infant.

To set this base I used Rimmel's Stay Matte Powder, followed by the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette- my favourite for a glowy finish that doesn't go dull after a few hours. To keep with the dewy, fresh look I went really simple on my cheeks using only Benefit Hoola Bronzer with Rockateur and Danelion blush.

The eyes are my favourite part of this look, unfortunately my only working camera right now is my phone's front camera which doesn't pick up the red, iridescent colour on my lids - step up your game, apple - but I did my best to get some shots! From the Lorac Pro Palette (surprise, surprise) I used Taupe and Deep Purple in my crease, as well as on my lower lash line, Garnet on my lid, and champagne in my inner corner. Four eyeshadows - so simple! After applying wings with my Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner, I used my ol' faithful Maybelline Falsies Volum' Express Mascara, before following up with actual falsies - optional, but always encouraged. I used the Ardell 116 because they were the first ones I found in my make up bag. I also used my Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade in Dark Brown to give my unruly brows some much needed love and care.

Sometimes I do a bold lip to contrast with the glowy, nude theme, but today I kept it simple with MAC Viva Glam II - my favourite for that Brigitte Bardot, pouty, nude look.

Does anyone else have any simple, every day looks to recommend?

Enjoy!
