Hey, friends! When it comes to my face area, I am definitely a creature of habit. I tend to gravitate to select products for a few months, before something shiny and new appears on the scene, effectively capturing my magpie-like eye. I thought I might show you my current go-to situation - and possibly even make a series out of it, gasp! - in lieu of a regular 'favourites' post. What do you think? Well, I mean, you're reading this post right now, so hopefully you're as optimistic about this as I am. Ok, I'll stop with the introduction now - let's talk about the sweet, sweet products.



Makeup Geek Americano Shadow
I've definitely posted about this bad boy before, but it has been seeing the light of day (or, you know, my vanity) with increasing frequency, so its worth another mention. Basically, if you're looking to take your mid-tone brown to black without eight hours worth of blending, you need Americano. It is neutral enough in tone to work for both cool and warm toned looks, and is of course of the greatest MUG quality. To further demonstrate my point, please enjoy these photos of my eyeballs after I adorned them with this dark brown beauty.



Becca Backlight Priming Filter
Once again, this little guy is not a stranger to my blog (read my review here! Not here.), but now that winter has it's grip on Perth, my skin is needing a little extra help in the glow department. I've been reaching for the stuff every time I smear makeup on my face, and it is really helping to make me look alive and not like I'd rather be in bed listening to a storm while eating copious amounts of warm biscuits.



Jeffree Star Androgyny Velour Liquid Lipstick
This is what I'd call a 'bold nude' for me; a dusty rose dream that will add a little somethin' somethin' to your face area without completely taking over the look. Jeffree's formula is second only to ABH in my mind, and so I try to break out his mouthwateringly-packaged babies as often as humanly possible. Unfortunately, this bad boy is almost always out of stock, but it is well worth the wait.
