Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette - Review!

Hey, friends! You all know I'm a peach fiend, so when the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette arrived at my door I gently weeped for several moments before immediately getting my paws into this beautifully packaged thing. Since the entire collection has just dropped here in Australia, I figured I'd give you a little review, so you can decide whether you'd like to surrender your credit card to Mecca Maxima

This gold and peach dream contains an illuminator, blush, and a bronzer, as well as a super high quality mirror, which is perfect for staring at yourself while on the move. The tin itself is sturdy, magnetised, and - most importantly to my magpie-like brain - pretty. If you're into things that look beautiful on your vanity, this is a must-buy in my humble, superficial opinion.

Colour-wise, I would describe the illuminator as a champagne pink, the blush as a reflective version of Candied Peach (from the original Sweet Peach Palette), and the bronzer as a warm-toned shimmer. Unfortunately, I do not fancy bronzers which aren't at least demi-matte, and so the third shade in this palette is somewhat of a letdown for me - however, I could imagine it looking splendid on the eyelid region of my face. Similarly, the illuminator is a little too pink for my skintone, and works best as a blush topper. However, if you're rocking medium/tan tones, give this puppy a try.

Unfortunately, I do not envision the colour selection working well for those on the super fair end of the spectrum, nor those on the deeper end, however we can live and hope that they release further editions suited for a more diverse range of humans.

The blush is my stand-out favourite from the palette, though if I'm honest, I do prefer Papa Don't Peach - another gem from this sweet scented collection - and tend to reach for it more often when beating my face. Overall, in my eyes this palette is the weaker link of a divine collection - i.e. certainly not bad, just not the best of the peachy lot.

Have you tried this baby? What do you think? Let me know!
