The Best Highlighters For Pale Skin!

Hey, friends! If you're a ghostly gal like me you probably have a tough time getting your highlight to seen-from-space levels. Not dissimilarly, I often find highlighters to be too warm for my cooler undertones, leaving me with what looks like weirdly placed bronzer on the high points of my face. Because of this, and the fact that I am not content unless I am a human disco ball, I set out to find some shimmering goodness that is perfect for all those pale pals out there. Shall we?

The first on my list is also my current favourite - Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator in Starlight. This is a gorgeous, cool toned highlight which will make your cheekbones visible to extraterrestrial life. The powder itself is incredibly fine and thus avoids the chunky-glitter situation we all dread , instead delivering you shimmery perfection.

Next up is the cult favourite, Mary Loumaniser by The Balm. If you prefer a warm toned  - but, like, not too warm - highlight, this is the one for you. This will make you glow like you've never glowed before, and basically everyone needs this baby. It's the kind of highlight you want to wipe all over your face - and I do. Though its one-step above shimmer, its not at all glittery and I'm obsessed with it.

My penultimate pale highlighter comes in the form of an eyeshadow, because who doesn't love a good multi-use product? Shimma Shimma from Makeup Geek is ludicrously stunning, and gives the most gorgeous sheen when applied with a fluffy brush. It's cooler in tone, but will definitely work on all you neutral people out there!

Finally, if you're looking for a galactic glow, you need Sugar Rush in your life. This is a duochrome pigment from Makeup Geek which reflects blue - sounds scary but is amazing if you're feeling daring. I mean, just look at the swatch. Take it all in. Wipe it all over your face.

I hope this helped you out a little with your sheen struggles! What is your favourite highlighter for pale skin?

Enjoy!
