Since this palette's return - later this year, folks! - is so highly anticipated, I figured I'd share my thoughts on this baby, and basically just convince you of how much you need it. Shall we?
Ok, so starting from the most superficial of levels, the packaging is offensively adorable. From the cardboard box, to the ombre, peach-embossed tin, this thing is god damn precious and I am so here for it. Plus, the colour scheme is such an aesthetic. Also I love the little peach mascot. Ok, I'll stop now before I start weeping.
When you open up this bad boy you are greeted with 18 beautiful shades, a heavenly chorus of angels singing Hallelujah, and also the smell of peach. I know a lot of people are finding this a little sickly/medicinal, but artificial peach is one of my all time favourite scents/flavours, so I could not be more pleased. In fact, I have the palette under my nose right now, and I am drooling.
Right, on to the actual product! The shade range on this beautiful little thing is incredibly impressive; it has your peaches, your matte and shimmery neutrals, your glittery deep shades, and an olive green for good measure.
L-R: White Peach, Nectar, Peaches n' Cream, Luscious, Cobbler, and Georgia. |
L-R: Just Peachy, Candied Peach, Caramelized, Bless Her Heart, Bellini, and Puree. |
L-R: Tempting, Peach Pit, Summer Yum, Charmed I'm Sure, Delectable, and Talk Derby To Me. |
Peaches n' Cream, Nectar, and Puree will give you a lovely, every day look, while Tempting, Delectable, Talk Derby To Me and Luscious will take you right into night time (or 8:00am on a Wednesday, if you're me, you feel?).
The pigmentation on these shades is insane (second only to Makeup Geek, in my eyes), and the formula is so buttery, I cannot even tell you. Often, intense pigmentation results in chalky shadows, but I can assure you that this is not the case. With this palette, fallout is non-existent, and falling over your own feet when you run to tell people how amazing it is will be inevitable.

I tried to narrow down my top three shades, but I simply couldn't and so my top five are: Luscious, Caramelised, Candied Peach, Bellini, and Peach Pit. If you listen closely you can hear me drooling again.
I should note that this palette is probably not ideal for travelling, simply due to the absence of a dark brown and black shadow to complete more intense looks. However, I don't feel that the palette was really designed to be a one-stop, do-it-all kit, but rather a collection of beautiful feature shades. You can create 90% of your look with these gorgeous lid and highlight shades, and supplement the look with basics from your existing collection. I'd hate to see any of these shades eliminated for the sake of including a standard matte black.
Should you want to see this baby in action, I've inserted two looks I've created using it's beautiful, peachy goodness!
Using Georgia, Puree, Summer Yum, Delectable, Peach Pit, Tempting, and Luscious. |
Using Peaches n' Cream, Candied Peach, Bellini, Puree, Summer Yum, and Nectar. |
I hope this was helpful to any of you looking to purchase this lovely little thing!
Have you tried it? What are your thoughts?
Enjoy!
Sophia ♡
